A Cluster of Nodes

No keyboard, no monitor,

Network connection only,

No hard drive, No CD, No DVD

Remote power supply

PXE network boot

This blog is about thin client computers suitable for clustering and other recreational projects.
For small Linux distros suitable for achieving the above, see Tiny Node Linux

Initially you will need a power brick for your unit, and a keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers if you have them, a USB CD drive is very helpful, a network connection if you have it,  but don't worry about booting from a network for now.

If you're not a Linux guru, this is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with this hacker's dream of an operating system. I'll give a bit of guidance to get you started, but I'm not going to write a tutorial.
